Schools, Colleges, and Govt Offices to Remain Closed Tomorrow

The Chief Minister’s Office has officially announced three days of state mourning to honor the late former Chief Minister S.M. Krishna, who passed away this morning.

According to the notification, S.M. Krishna’s mortal remains will be laid to rest with full state honors at his birthplace, Somanahalli, in Maddur taluk, Mandya district, on Wednesday.

As a mark of respect, all schools, colleges (including aided institutions), and government offices will remain closed tomorrow (December 11, Wednesday). Additionally, there will be no public entertainment programs, and the national flag will be flown at half-mast.
